What do you guys wear when you go to high end stores? I always wear shitty old stuff that's faded or torn.

/fa/scist, you probably have some idea about this.

Is it acceptable to go and try stuff on in boutiques without buying? I've already done this for one piece and then bought online.

Imo I have like one more free pass before they get pissed off.

Anything bro. It really doesnt matter, sometimes you can get weird looks but most shop attendants are really friendly regardless of what you're actually wearing.

I went into a Gorman shop the other day (female mid-tier store I guess) with a friend. I didnt plan on actually heading into the city and was just wearing uniqlo jeans, reeboks and a Poler hoodie. One of the workers apparently made comment about how me and my friend were obviously not able to afford anything in there and were just there to look around. She also followed us out the store to peek in our tote bag to make sure we didnt steal anything.

I didnt actually hear it, but man, I would've rekt'd that bitch if I did.

ofc m8, though I wouldnt be going to the same boutique often without actually buying anything. it might become a bit obvious and then its a bit rude. but remember also its good to support boutiques so you should be buying things from there at least once every so often.

The likelihood of them caring is low. But at least don't be an ass and demand a bunch of service when you know they won't be getting anything out of it. If you want, tell them you aren't buying and just don't bother them when they're trying to help serious customers. Be polite and that's a you can do.
