I used a curl activator a couple days ago, didn't really know what the fuck i was doing and kinda burned my scalp cause I used too much of the product at once. My hair was also extremely dry because of this. I'm mixed and I have huge long curls that make for ez hairstyle, but I can't decide what the hell to do with my bangs.

I straighten my hair from time to time and they're long as fuck right now, but are pretty short and untamed when it's curly and are fast to frizz without a lot of product, giving me a frullet.

Should I just leave them alone and let them grow out? Anyone know of a good happy medium?

well, I've looked at the hair types thing alot; and I can't really identify with any of those.

Like, one part of my head is kind of like 4B, but the "z"s are much bigger, looser "z"s.
Another section is like 2B in the shape/pattern, but it's thick, compacted and stands up like most black hair.
