How do I stop them from squeaking pls help

>> No.8123952

lube them with canola oil

>> No.8123974

put them in the microwave on low for 20 seconds

>> No.8123978

you bought leather shoes, literally all leather shoes will squeek until you wear them for a long time

>> No.8123982

WD40 and more airing out of them than you believe you'll need.

>> No.8123985

By getting AF1s instead

>> No.8123992

Cover them in sunflower oil then put them in the freezer for a few days

you wanna simulate wear by getting a file and rubbing vigorously on the inside of the hell, it would also stop normally after like 30 wears when it's worn down enough this is just a faster solution, rub sawdust unside after to smoothen the rough leather

>> No.8124114

Buy non-squeaking CPs next time.

>> No.8124125

Does anyone else put shoe trees in their CPs? I do it so it smells nice after wearing sick less, also so it stays stretched out because they are narrow.

>> No.8124133

outside i dont know but baby powder works for the inside

>> No.8124130

sandpaper everywhere the tongue touches the inside. lightly, but enough to scuff it. do it in stages so you don't go too far and ruin them.

>> No.8124189

by not fucking up the sizing you big cunt

>> No.8124214

Explain, b/c I don't think you have a valid point. A lot of leather shoes squeak

>they are leather so your feet get hot as fuck in them
>buy a size too large
> the heel is just slipping and wiggling around as you walk in the swimming pools of sweat that you call your shoe

and this is how squeaking sounds are made

I put them in my CP derbies but not in my achilles. My achilles still have a nice leathery smell after like 8 months of wear, it's amazing. I also don't really care if they get beat up, I tree the derbies though cause they look like shit beat up

>> No.8124282

You are wrong man. Mine are really tight on my feet so there is no heel slippage. It is the leather that creases when your foot bends during your step that makes the squeaky noise for me

>> No.8124292

How does the sizing compare between the two? Is the shape different or are they from a similar last?

>> No.8124309

>>8124292
I wear 43 in both, so it's similar. Weird thing is my achilles blistered my left heel for a week.
my derbies, which are new, are blistering my right heel.
They shape is definitely different and slightly less comfortable but just go with the same size

>> No.8124352

throw some powder in them

>> No.8124520

>>8124309
Thanks man. Do they have the same amount of room in the toes?

>> No.8124524

>>8124520
more in the derbies just cause the shape
