I own that... Its a *HORRIBLE* design for a laptop bag.
If you're filling it with crap that can mold to the shape of the bag(Like clothing) its great. But put anything square in it, and it looks/feels like crap.

Also, because of the way the weight is distributed, its uncomfortable to wear for long periods if theres more than 10lbs in it. So a laptop + a few books and a binder will make you hate it.
That goes for all 'sling bags' btw. Even the ones(like the monsoon) that have a 2end strap to cross the other side of your hip.

Dont get me wrong, its a cool looking. But its really a bad practical design.

I would say go to REI and find one of their bay-packs that has a spot for a laptop. Up here in Canada, our REI(MEC) makes the best value, decent looking backpacks that are ideal for this kinda stuff.

Herschel bags are really shitty.
I went to Urban Outfitters to see if they had any of the Herschel x NB 420s in stock and while I had them check I looked at the Little America bag. Stitching was shoddy and was lacking in the main pressure points, the materials felt thin and cheap, and overall the bag didn't feel like something that was worth $90.

That's why I'm having a hard time. briefcases are fine but unless I just stick with a tablet, I won't have enough room at times and I hate tablets. If it's too small it's a man purse, if it's too big I might as well get a hockey bag, although sometimes I like I need one.

depending on what you need, this one might suit you. I have it and it has a good laptop pocket that fits my 15" just fine. Doubt you'll be able to find it in this color scheme anymore though.

anyone have suggestions for a cream/natural colored backpack? can go up to $300 if it's worth it but i'd much prefer something cheaper since i have a backpack rotation. looking for a zip-up, a little bit simplistic (no techy/crazy buckles) and not too common (no herschel & fjallraven; already have an everlane bag)
