how is this so hard for you to understand? polo, nike, patagonia, new balance, north face, beanies, wide-cut pants are normcore. it's not about looking "normal" (whatever the fuck that is) but just radically incorporating unfashionable/bland/hyper-corporate influences. Dressing like you are more "dad" than any father could ever be, but you're young and attractive and your clothes are all well made. It's a rejection of the boho/heroin/punk attitude of looking bedraggled and fucked up but because it's so unassuming it manages to still have the "I don't care therefore I am cool" vibe.

Come on dude you KNOW that's not what this is all about. It's literally people who were spending hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars on outfits before who are now grasping at straws for something new, so they take what's "normal" and claim it's original because they're the ones doing it.
