Have you tried not using shampoo? My hair was receeding pretty fast (I'm 19) but i started not using shampoo and my hair seemed to stop receeding and it feels much more full and good. I am growing my hair out as well to possible shoulder length.

Bumping. My hairline is receding and I've just started using 5% minoxidyl twice a day last Friday, so hopefully that creates some positive results. I don't really fancy taking finestaride because of the possible side effects and links it has to increasing the risks of developing high grade prostrate cancer.
