Is this the cheapest place to get cp's? and what size should i get if i wear size 12 in vans?

>> No.8096706

Are the size 12 in vans snug or kind of loose? If they're on the looser side, I suggest 44's.

>> No.8096714

>>8096706
fuck they only have size 45 or 46, i guess il get the black and save up for whites later

>> No.8096721

You could try the 45, but they might be pretty loose, especially for lighter spring and summer wear.

You could always cop from other places and just take the hit on the small increase in price. Try End clothing.

sneaker sizing depends on so much, even how much your toes have been pointed inwards over time and how much room you want.

never owned CPs but from my experience with others, sneaker sizing is the one thing you can't get right on the internet.

sux because I buy all my stuff online. just buy from somewhere that has free returns. nothing worse than buying some used high end sneakers from sufu or w/e and then you get them and you're not sure if they're a size too big and it ruins your entire life.

size 11 in nike (eu 44)
sized down 1 on first pair of cps, so 43. fit big still
sized down 2 to a 42 on second pair, and they fit great.

The common projects shoes should realistically cost $100-$150, retail at $200-250 at the most.

fashion is a very interesting industry, mainly the psychology behind pushing a product, hyping it up, the whole deal. a lot of things would surprise you.

CP is a pretty decent example, just the fact that their cost is so grossly inflated makes people who own them feel good about themselves.

artificial scarcity + high cost = pleasure to many buyers.

people probably look down at their common project shoes thinking how great they are, how high quality/expensive they are, and feeling good about it. "maybe someone who knows about these shoes will notice me wearing them" etc.

I could get really deep into it, but I already told you the main point. It's all a joke.

the sad part for me, and rings true in every field I
I've done business in; I wish the consumer was smart enough to seek true value for their dollar and not be jaded. It would push everyone to produce higher quality. you would have "CP" quality for $100 if you demanded it.

thank god you won't, I'd probably be out of work.

>> No.8109775

to recommend a brand would contradict my personal philosophy, because you need to find high quality that works for you and fits you best.

a good brand or item of clothing/shoes will in this specific order:

#1 FIT you personally right.
#2 be well made, quality materials
#3 be stylish
#4 worry about the brand

you shouldn't be starting off thinking "I want this brand" you make sure #1 above all else, then #2, THEN #3,

don't flock blindly flock to a brand like the rest of the saps.

people like that let greedy co's like CP rich like kings. CP doesn't offer narrows or wides, their sizing is weird. but people eat it up and squeeze into them. why? because too many people do those 1,2,3,4 in the opposite order.

I'm not mad, it's your money not mine getting burned.

most expensive =/ most fashionable/well made

I just think you should consider a little more about what you're settling for when you spend $500 on those shoes.

for $500 you could go get shoes custom made for the exact dimensions of your foot, with the finest materials.
