hey /fa/ im hoping you guys can help me out.

i live in costa rica, and here any girls 15th birthday is a big deal so we do big partys and shit. now, ive been invited as an "acompañante" that translated is a companion or escort lol. the girl chooses 15 couples to be her companions. im having the pleasure of being one of them

the party isnt going to be very formal but i have to go with a button down white shirt and dark pants or dark jeans...

i have a nice fitting shirt so thats not a problem, but i only have 1 pair of dark skinny jeans, can you guys help me out so that i can look sharper/better.

any tips on the general outfit and i dont know what shoes to wear.

Te ayudare por que yo empeze a entrar en este board para vestirme para fiestas.

Primero esa camisa se ve muy pequeña, no la fajes, abrochate las mangas, los jeans se ven muy informales, prueba con unos jeans negros, los levis 511 negros serian buenos para empezar.

Usa zapatos negros que NO esten en punta, busca los dr martens 1461 y busca algo parecido a ellos.

White Shirt, Dark pants / jeans? Not too formal?

No tie. Suit vest or a nice Sport coat/blazer (but not both)!

Either way you'll look classy and manly, but no too formal.

You might need darker jeans depending on what flavor you personally want to have, but if you get a brown, tan, or grey suit vest you'll be fine.

Suit vest, and Shoes should match in color or at least how dark they are.

For instance tan/light brown shoes with a black suit vest will clash, (unless you wanna have black slacks/ jeans and tan tie and a tan belt)

Google search "suit vest and jeans" and "sports coat an jeans" and you'll see what look I'm talking about.

If you wanna help yourself a good rule of thumb is never where more than 3 colors, and different shades of a color (dark blue vs medium blue vs light blue) generally count as more than one color, but you have more leeway depending on the situation.
