I know there's been a lot of these lately, but I need to restock my shelves soon and I didn't want to make a thread based solely on that request.
Right now I'm looking for wax, pomades, and volumizing products. I'm open to trying new things, though.

Does anyone know anything about the quality of Gatsby Moving Rubber? Or Bed Head? I heard Bed Head changed their formula on some of their popular styling products and consequently fails to live up to it's former reputation.

Grunge matte has the strongest hold without shine for a natural, non-greasy look. The other gatsby colors don't hold well and have too much shine. Use it with a hair spray and you'll have a god-tier combo. People think that pomades standalone will last all day.

I use Axe Clean Cut.
I have a cut where I part everything over but the front fluffed up and combovered (kind of like a short pomp combover)

Trying this out with a softer cut (less weight in the front) and I'm liking the versatility it's been giving me. Lighter application stays VERY soft, but adds just enough shine and control for flyways. Using more (or just re-applying after the first application has set a little) gives me a lot more texture and hold than you'd expect a product this light and fluffy to give you.

I think for overall hold and chunkier texture, I still prefer other products (Sachajuan, B&B), but this is nice for the options it gives me. Label M actually markets it for curly/wavy hair and I can definitely see how it'd give you some slight shine and a really natural, bouncy hand to more textured hair like that.
