Long explanation short: in order to keep the hammer operable, it needs to be where it always is on revolvers that are single-action capable, however, the whole chiappa thing is firing out of the lowest axis of the revolving chamber instead of the top, thusly, there needs to be a whole matrix of little bits and pieces to make operating the hammer actually strike the primer and fire the gun.

boggles the mind that faggots in this thread don't understand basic physics. yes, there is an advantage to bottom firing, because this revolver has practically no muzzle flip/barely any kick at all. between that and the way its action operates, its possible to refire it faster than most semi-automatic pistols. the lack of flip makes follow-up shots more accurate.

and yeah, its easier to conceal but thats kind of a side-effect. what this really is a rapid-fire 357 that pretty much has no recoil/handles like a bb gun.

i guess understanding this kind of shit is sort of beyond a bunch of useless fags preening in front of mirrors.
