You're kinda getting it.

Imagine you're driving down a road with mile markers (or kilometer markers. Doesn't matter).

When you hit the first marker, hit the start button. When you hit the second, hit the stop button. All you have to do is read what the second hand is pointing to on that tachymeter bezel and it tells you the speed. If it's pointing at, say, 300, then you're going 300 whatevers per hour. It's a pretty elegant solution to the problem of knowing your speed.

I'd much rather a Seiko or even Citizen than a Tossit. They look nice but they are just not worth the money, wear down/break easily and are just sad. Better than the shitty "buy me because I'm swiss, and have a MSRP 6 times higher than expected retail price" ones though.

Don't get anything bigger than 42mm - remember chicks think big watches mean small dicks, and it's a fad that is going to fade - if you get a good watch it will last years and you're not gonna want to be wearing one of those gigantic pocket watch sized things on your wrists in a few years. I usually wear it with a chestnut brown leather strap. With a vintage piece like this, I've always found lighter brown leather to work best. I also wear it on a patterned NATO.

I disagree. Chicks these days follow fashion and fashion dictates that big watches are in.

>have a rolex submariner
>no one says anything about it
>get a casio for birthday
>it's one of those panerai sized watches
>still wear it
>get compliments all around
>one chick even says it's nicer than that other watch, which was girly

I'm not saying that sub is girly and I love my sub very much, but nowadays everything below 45 mm is considered a girl's watch.

That would be none. There are no muscles in your wrist or hand. However if you eat like the average /fit/izen, your wrist will probably bulk up with all the fat you gain, so there's that.

If your wrists are too small for modern watches, learn to shop for vintage watches. There's a whole world of 60s Seamasters and shit out there that look classier than anything on the market today. And there's always Rolex.

You'er a fucking retard if you go for fashion watches. They have shitty movements and build quality which they can mark up because they have a recognisable brand. The Hilfiger brand may be an exception to the rule that I'm not aware of but its very very very very unlikely.
