For lower end (clothing) you could try:
levi commuter series
isaora
maharishi
outlier
ss14 penfield is kinda moving away from heritage.
carhartt wip

It really depends on the style you're going for, from more contemporary styled, functional, tech pieces to something that looks like new wave cyber punk/ tech ninja.

Most 'techwear' is athletic or sports wear though.
Just a windbreak + sweats.

I think this is kinda the problem with 'techwear' and /fa/. It seems that people all have very specific, yet different idea of what criteria an article of clothing has to satisfy to be 'techwear'.

Alright, I'm just going to dump my brand suggestions for newbies as nothing ever really gets suggested outside of acrnm for high end or iasora for budget.

By no means comprehensive, just stuff off the top of my head
Levi's Commuter - $ It's waterproof levi's what do you expect.
Penfield - $ Heritage
Outlier - Sport $
Carhartt WIP - $
Iasora - Sport $$
Stone Island (Shadow Project) - Milspec, cyber punkish, ninja $$$
Undercoverism - $$$
Acrnm - Sport, Ninja, some contemporary $$$
Arc'teryx (Veilance) - Contemporary, sport, $$$
Maharishi - Mil spec inspired, street $$
Enfin Levé - (Tech/Goof) Ninja, $$
CP company - Contemporary $$
Herno Laminar - Contemporary, menswear $$$
Aitor Throup - Experimental $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Shoes:
NIke - $
Y3 - $$
Chaco (sandals for summer?) - $
I dunno, any trainers or hiker I guess.

Ty, nike trainrendors. Would not suggest, if they were not reselling for so much they would be meme shoes here. I do think they look cool but the overall construction is awful, and they crease like hell in the toe box. The only reason why mine look half decent still is because I clean the weekly and use the aforementioned mink oil trick to make the material a truer black with a slight gloss. honesty wtf are you talking about.
'techwear', as it were, is any garment that's made of technical or fabrics that have some utilitarian purpose beyond that of a standard textile. Examples: moisture wicking, odour resistance, high articulation, hydrophobic, antimicrobial and so on.

Techwear in itself is a class of clothing designed to fulfil specific functional requirements, agnostic of style.

Y'all brag about wearing a bland ass windbreaker and some fucking cargo pants, and think you look special or SUPERDUPERCOOL for it
You're wearing normal, lazy clothing
You are all hipster to the fucking max for hyping this shit as "techwear".
You want to call something fucking TECHWEAR, you build yourself a fucking brace and mount a laptop to your body, you fags.

I owned them for a month. they have anti microbial treatment. the more you wash them the more of the dwr is removed. washed them to sell. why is this so difficult to comprehend.

I'm not sure where you're getting the impression that anyone is hyping 'bland ass windbread[s]' or are 'wearing normal, lazy clothing'. If you're taking issue with stylistic choices so far presented in this thread it may be that a large body of the discussion has been about cheaper, budget offerings - and as it is, if you're paying for improved material you will potentially sacrifice design, but that is not always the case. There are a number of designers, although somewhat limited that are pushing the boundaries of very fashionable designs that are highly functional, case in point Errolson Hugh when designing for Acrnm, SI:SP, or Herno. If you think you know better, I'd be more then ready to be receptive to what you think is better.

I don't give a shit if you want to wear windbreakers or cargo pants, they are perfectly fucking functional. I get offended by cocksmokers getting all high on their own genital scrapings and calling it "techwear" and pretending it makes them cool or it's some special fucking fashion. It's hipster bullshit at it's most superficial.

This entire thread is full of people trying to look like ninja's/SWAT guys/video game characters and using "functional fabrics" to justify it, when usually the most technical and quality outerwear is pretty ugly and not really made for urban use. A good jacket is one thing, basing your whole look around it seems trying way too hard.
