Walking around with a backpack that looks totally empty and flat sucks. I remember someone on here puts crumbled newspapers into his to make it look fuller. Any other ideas?

Its rare that I go anywhere where my backpack is empty enough that it looks funny. I mean, novel, uni notepad, personal notepad, 1L water, hat/beanie, jumper/jacket if its cold or going to get that way

And if I ever am in that situation where it looks funny, I generally throw in a jumper (which can come in handy for numerous things like making bag comfy for park pillow or lending to a m8).

As for stuffing my bags, I rarely ever need to. I'm either carrying notebooks and binders or camera gear.
