Just got this cute Lacroix silk skirt - it's really flowy and falls at around my calves, but I have absolutely no idea what to wear with it.

What kind of shirts and shoes would look good along with the patterns? Really lost.

yuck. i can only see it working in some sort of outfit following japanese-streetwear style of slapped-together comfiness yet it all comes together and looks good

Just off the top of my head you could either make the skirt the focal point and wear a basic tank-top or other nice fitting shirt and some no-lace slip on something-or others. Also, it'd probably look great if paired with lots of bracelets/necklaces. Copper and silver looking stuff would probably work best, gold might be a bit too attention grabbing.

Or you could go patternbitch and just wear a lot of repeating or intricate patterned things. Might be able to pull it off, I've seen it done well before.

Unfortunately I don't have specific brands or otherwise as I am a dude. Good luck, looks like a neat skirt.
