I'd go with joggers, possibly zespy's if you're willing to try. Anything with a tapered pant or skinny leg.

I'd stick to really basic colors unless you know what you are doing. Black, white, grey.
Reds and blues maybe. just go for a thin silhouette and you should be fine.

i got the white ones. initially regretted it cus of how quickly they showed dirt until i realized ive only seen black ones on other people. plus ive come to belive the white is more versatile as it can work in a techy fit or as a trainer in a more casual fit.
