I have rather soft facial features for a guy. What type of haircut would be best for me?

I feel like most long hair styles makes me look too boyish but the short styles i've tried doesn't go well with my soft facial features.

I keep going back and forth between short and long and not being happy with either length.

I don't like my head shape so I have to rule out buzz cut.

I feel like long hair while having it in a smart style (pic related) would look best on me but my hair is very thick so that doesn't really work either.
