OH SHIT NIGGER WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING EDITION.

talk about no-poo, shit on no-poo, rate haircuts + give/receive haircut suggestions.

boss at my job doesnt like it when i run my fingers through my hair (i handle food sometimes).
he wants me to cut my hair to 2-3" (lmfao) that shit isnt happening so i told him I'll keep it 'clean' and kempt with product.
i usually just use a drop of some coconut oil shit to make my hair silky and smooth (which is why i run my fingers through my hair to keep my fringe off my eyes).
anyway, i havent used hair gel since grade 9 and the only other real product i have is some crew clay shit that isnt water soluble.

tl;dr need some fucking product to keep hair kempt and tight without having to run my fingers through it it every 10-15 minutes. also give me a rate and what you think i should style/cut it to for my next visit to my gay salon.

im good with my hands and i know i can style hair i just need the right product to pull it off.
it needs to be light but also tough enough to do more than just mold which is why im thinking pomade (which?) + hairspray (which?)

Product is American Crew pomade. It looks great, but in the pic it was still a tad wet, which gives it a shitty shine. Much better when it dries out.

I have shitty shiny Italian hair. So wax and gel is out of the question, it will only look wet, greasy or dirty in general.

Limit your washes to once a week (the first few weeks will be greasy.

Use quality natural shampoo suited for your hair type.

Deep condition with jojoba oil over night if you notice hair is dry.

Use lukewarm water when washing (and in general), finish with cool water. Rule of thumb is to not fog mirror.

Lightly pat dry excess water, then let it air dry.

Try to not comb it as much as possible, use wide tooth to put it in place.

Get your split ends cut monthly

Wear a hat in direct sun.

best product i have ever seen, haze by evo. powder, makes your hair just do whatever you like man.

ive been on no poop for about 2-3 weeks now and depending on the weather, my hair looks ok.

Now I want advice on the best cut for my hair type, and for my face in general.
Also, I only wash my hair with cold water, but apparently other no poopers use vinegar and baking soda? Is that better than just water?

I have questions. I just washed my hair for the first time in a year. It looks okay but its pretty poofy and feels kind of dry.

My hair: very straight. Fine hairs but very thick in terms of amount of hair (a lot of hair).

1. What does shampoo do exactly, when/ how often should I use it?

2. What does conditioner do and will using it help get rid of some of the poofiness of my hair.

3. When using product (pomade/putty) is it better to put it in wet or dry hair? Also is it better to distribute as much as possible throughout all the hair or to just put it more on the surface of the hair.

Would really appreciate an answer to these questions
