Going from no style whatsoever and thread less tees to a streetwear style for as cheap as possible. What would you start with. Pic related.

Probably some sneakers. Sneakers seem to be a big part of the streetwear community, and you don't have to shell out a lot for a pair that'll go with the style. I'm personally a fan of New Balance, or Adidas have some really cool models out like the ZX8000, or of course you have Nike/Jordan brand. Just work your way up, look at inspiration and such. You can get a lot of streetwear cheap, granted it isn't stuff like Supreme, Mastermind, etc

seems like a lot of streetwear revolves around a jacket as well.

thoughts on graphic tees? how to differentiate shit tier looking tee from nice one.

anything with pop culture/memes/jokes is shit-tier

decent graphic design is okay

It was my understanding that graphic tees are to be completely avoided, I could be wrong.

>>7965125 I thought the same thing until I seen streetwear was full of them. seems minimalist designs and artistic type shit works if it's not the entire shirt.

tasteful graphic tees are fine, h&m core shirts with black and white pictures of whore on are not ok, same with shirts with no contextual meaning, just "NEW YORK 63 COOL CLUB 1993 RAD" or whatever. Good designs, good meaning. Good.

if they are cool it's fine but usually the cool ones are rather expensive

don't wear your Dr.Pepper or Pink Floyd graphic tee you got at Target
