so heres a bit of my ideology /fa/

I only spend big bucks on clothing if its something unique and I can only get it from this designer. For basics or just more normal-ish stuff I go for what fits good or is cheap. I dont see the point on spending $1000 on a black rick bomber rather then buying the $200 zara one. Ill buy some raf velcors though because they have a unique look and you cant really get anything like them to my knowledge

anyone else feel this way?

>inb4 quality, it doesnt change that much honestly, and I dont care if my bomber to lasts 300 years anyway

i do that too, i only like to drop good money on things that are unique or recognizable

I kind of agree, but there's still plenty of details about a Rick bomber (e.g. proportion, fit, materials) that you won't get on the Zara one. I think a more apt thing would be comparing, say, a Soloist jacket vs. a basic tee. But even basics can be done in interesting cuts (longer, looser, slimmer) and in interesting fabrics (rayon, viscose).
