Yohji Yamamoto for one (not that guy btw). In I think SS 13 he did a boot which looked a bit similar to docs (bulbous toe, thick sole, would post a photo but im on mob). This season he collaborated with the brand, adding some of the elements he excentuated in his own version to the original boot.

Other high fashion designers have collaborated with the brand (a. Sauvage) but I cant really think right now

I've seen people say that _7 is for the more industrially themed clothing and that MA is for more traditional designs. I don't see that much evidence of this in the clothing itsself though.

They are the most expensive piece of "clothing" I own. I had to talk myself into buying them because I do not spend much on clothing at all, but I loved the look and shape of them so much.

that looks like an asos-brand piece of shit. absolutely not. they'll be coming apart within a couple months of regular wear, and they look cheap. that waxed look is cheap and tacky. don't scab out on boots, man. if you want something like that, get a pair of l.l. bean katahdin boots. they're still affordable ($210 shipped for americans, but they also ship internationally). asos is also selling a boot by "shoe the bear" for ~$170 atm that looks to be alright.
