I just got a factory job and my feet are fucking destroyed by the time I get home. What are the most comfortable shoes for standing around 12 hours a day

Probably nike or some shit, something cheap, but comfy.

Whatever superfeet insoles can fit into. Best answer you'll get

They don't offer any cushioning though

>> No.7900895

i had/have quite a few pair of trainers and i found the Reebok Classics the most comfortable

cushioning is irrelevant, they mold perfectly. been standing on greens the past year and my feet actually feel better than ever

>> No.7900995

I wear vans, pretty uncomfortable but sucked it up and after 2 weeks when I'm used to that shit it's all good
no shoe is going to make ur feet feel good if u have to stand 12 hours a day

I'm assuming that you're standing on a concrete floor. They make special thick-assed rubber mats to put down at your work stn specifically for this. I think they're expensive, but compared to what people on this board blow on shoes, it's reasonable I'm sure.

other than that, I've had good results with Saucony Jazz.

past a certain point cushioning is the opposite of support
you want something hard that will keep your sole in an orthopedic shape
superfeet is good

make sure you get the right color for your foot type though... if you're flat footed get the blacks because too much arch will just hurt you. if you have arched feet take a look at which of the other colors works best for your arch severity

Timberlands are the most comfortable boots I've owned and they'll last forever.

Fuucckkk. I love those Bracken Boots. I can't really justify spending $500 for Wallabees.

Socks, motherfucker. Any sneaker of your choice with some comfortable socks.

Work in hospo and standing around 10 hours a day and socks with cushioning changed my fucking life.

Gat damng.

Be happy that you don't live in germany you lucky cunt. Every fucking job that has you standing all the time requires you to wear safety shoes for insurance reasons. They are so fucking uncomfortable.

New Balance with nice socks is still probably your best bet.
If I'm not mistaken, NBs are fairly popular lifting shoes for squatters because they are comfortable.

Seriously, when you work a factory job you shouldn't be worrying about how /fa/ you look on the work floor. You need actual protection. I'm talking steel nose, steel insole, chemical resistant outsole, the whole lot. It baffles me the factory doesn't have specific guidelines for footwear.
