I think I have what I am going to wear for the summer done.

>Pants
Chinos/linen and shorts (chino, twill, and belted all from Uniqlo)
>Shirts
Polos and t-shirts (no idea what type of t-shirts though, open to any suggestions), maybe a sport coat for the colder days
>Shoes
Boat shoes and loafers, flip flops/sandals for the beach

I already have a watch and sunglasses, but am open to any suggestions on other ones.

My only worry about this is that I'll look too dadcore. Any thoughts on what I have so far?

sounds like a very traditional approach to summerwear

it takes a pretty masculine look to be able to pull it off imo, but if everything is on point in terms of fit and color coordination, i'd think you'd be good

I never had shorts this short to be honest (I was always insecure about my legs, specifically thighs) so I just assumed they were normal. No idea they were too short.

Don't know if I completely agree, but if it's done improperly I could see why you'd have reservations about it. I find that boat shoes are way too predictable for my tastes. For every thirty out so guys laughing it up in Sperry's, there will be that one who holds fast to non traditional footwear.

Summer wear for me usually consists of a white oxford, a dark or neutral short and loafers. I have a pair of monk straps that I'm eager to put to work. Occasionally, I'll throw a gingham shirt into the mix
