The radio station I listen to likes to bag on about whats "trending" and all that nonsense.

This morning, they were talking about something trending in America called "Normcore" or something, where people physically go out of their way to dress like Jerry Seinfeld. Horrible, ill fitting 90's clothing. Sneans, denim jackets, the whole works.

Don't tell me this Normcore bullshit is an actual thing.

in which they interview select people who agree with the premise of 'normcore' because they have something to gain from it.

I think there's something to be said for these general ideas within the larger cultural movement of boredom as an aesthetic - but the term normcore and most of the reporting over the last week just feel like hype.
