i think when it comes to these really similar minimal shells it's just good to pick a brand that uses the least lame word

imo patagonia is a lot less lame than hi-tec or peter storm so i'd go for that over a lot of the others

altho on some patagonia models the branding is a lot more visible so it's really your choice

Adidas Sambas and Spezials are about $60 online. Buy a classic pair or search some casualwear instagrams. I've never had a better quality shoe than my Sambas. I've done a three day hike in them and put them through absolute hell and they hold up beautifully. Good luck.
