Is there any reason in particular? Other than the obvious given that they're high topped, but something more along the lines of; "I don't like how pants look with them" or "I don't like the lack of a solid break in the flow of an outfit," etc?

And do you like boots?

(For all intents and purposes, I'm going to make it a bit of a high top sneaker general - maybe it'll convince you otherwise, maybe it won't, but at least it'll make it more inclusive and widely useful as a thread.)

Not OP, but I've been trying to find a good pair of hi-tops for everyday use that are relatively cheap, any suggestion?
Maybe it's because I browse this board too much, but I find every hi-top that isn't some designer stuff to be very basic and bland looking.

Size 11 in normal shoes, or Vans? Vans tend to run a bit small, meaning you'll need a larger size - it's how I had mistaken my shoe size for 11.5 or 12 instead of 11 for years as a younger guy.

But I'd definitely suggest Sk8 His over a pair of Adidas top tens, if that's what you're referring to.
