/fa/'s thoughts on Polo Ralph Lauren?

Personally, I think it's a premium staple brand.

buying things with logos on them just so that people see you wearing things with logos on them: the brand.

>> No.7822513

I personally don't like it because I don't think most of their stuff looks good on me. I think a lot of people wear shitty cloths from there which can make it look bad but it can definitely be pulled off.

The branding is kept to minimal though. Very detailed, and not very noticeable imo

Good for the most part as long as you avoid the TJ Maxx and Marshall's sea of overstock/rejected designs.

It's like you're trying to be retarded.

If you wanted something like the Polo Ralph Lauren style, why wouldn't you just go for J Crew, which is basically the same without the branding?

They fucking sell it in TJ Maxx. What's premium about that?

That's still a huge logo. Why even put the brand on a t-shirt. The same thing with underwears for men. I fucking hate that shit.

Is this a picture for ants?
On topic, imo Polo RL is shit because the clothes range from garbage to decent quality. Prices don't really vary accordingly, either. Occasionally you might find something nice for a good price, but you'll find a lot of overpriced garbage with their branding all over it to.
If you're gonna buy Ralph Lauren, buy one of the main lines. Some people seem to like RRL, as well, but I've never handled any of it.

You are now aware that TJX gets the majority of its stock from retailers, not manufacturers.

Go for it. I really like the contrast horse because it adds something to an otherwise plain t shirt

Polo Ralph Lauren is gaudy. RRL, Purple Label and Black Label are all pretty nice. A good pal of mine has a few RRL stuff and denim and I would recommend.

Purple label is Great for #menswear, nothing wrong with it, just no real reason to wear it when you are not 30+, a few pieces could be used in non-#menswear fits, but most of that stuff is just relabeled small Italian brands.

Black Label is mostly the same, with a few more things that can be used for non-#menswear

RRL makes some nice workwear stuff. Quality is fairly high.

Polo is crap.
