where can I find a good, basic hoodie in grey or black, preferably for under $100?

uniqlo has some good looking ones for around 30 smackaroonies

Specifically their "classic sweats" line
about 10x better than their usual bullshit
the grey ones are the shittiest material out of all the colors.
black is great though

very thick, loopwheeled(?) material

I own like 5 and wear them every day

you mean this? http://store.americanapparel.net/classic-pullover-hoodie_hvt495

I was just looking at them. the black seems good, although I'd probably switch the white string out with a black one.

how do they fit? I'm 6'1" - I want to make sure the sleeves will be long enough. I haven't gotten any AA tops before, so I'm not sure if they run large or small.

>> No.7817560

>>7817539
yeah those

they fit slimmer than the pic makes it look like

also, there is a huge size gap between small and medium.

just about perfectly tts though - maybe a hair small. sleeves are plenty long. Try it on if you can, but remember they will shrink noticeably.

Also, the pullover (non-hoodie) version is even better fit imo.

What about their zip up stuff?
I found this one.
The other zip ups they have all have a white zip or white strings, so...

Any good?

Akin to a TJ Maxx. They sell older/rejected/out-of-season/etc. goods at a discount. They source stock from other stores and businesses and then put it in their store.

the "california fleece" material is really thin
like Champion-level material

the classic stuff is very different
a lot less soft though

Fuck.
Can't stand wearing pull-over cause it messes my hair up and isn't my style, need a zip up with nothing but black.

>grey ones are the shittiest material
confirmed. it's thinner than the other ones and the heathered pattern is just kind of unnappealing
the deep red is very nice, as is the black. fit is a little unusual though. large in the shoulders and very tapered around the waist. I wear a small in their tees, but got the classic hooded pullover in an xs. Kind of hard to get off, though. No way is it loopwheeled, though.
>>7817560
I actually don't like the non hooded pullover version of this. Fit just feels very wonky to me. iirc the neck opening is rather large too

Amazon has Fruit of the Loom at an easily affordable price. Beware though, the quality differs and the grey ones, IMHO, have a horrible tint. The black ones are great.

Question,

When buying a hoodie is it better to buy a size larger?

Does a hoodie look better with or without the front pocket?

>> No.7823754

>>7823743
looser fits are cooler

w/ front pockets

>> No.7823830

never buy a size larger, if you want it baggy at least make sure its made that way or buy a "oversized" cut
