Riiiiight well today I got hired for a job which requires me to wear a dress shirt/black slacks and some kind of tie/scarf/ribbon. While shopping for my stuff I wasn't thinking and just bought a tie. The problem lies within the fact that I'm a woman so the scarf will most likely make me look like a huge dyke.

What does /fa/ think about women in ties? I have to be in by 9 AM tomorrow so I don't exactly have time to go trade it in. But when I do, what should I get in place of the tie? I'm not exactly sure what else to wear with a collared button up shirt.

Should I just not bother and wear the tie? It's really just a job at a supermarket so it doesn't matter THAT much but I'd rather look nice and not like I munch on vagina 24/7.
