do i still wash my hair with soap? do i use conditioner? my hair is very dry and i want it to look good again

Yeah, the soda thingy is only for the first weeks.
You have to take your time washing them. massage your head or you risk getting dandruff.
Only use cold water.
It doesn't need to be icecold but cold.

Basically use baking soda then vinegar for the first few weeks then transition to just cold water. As a side note I had dandruff for a little while when I first started no poo, but it went away on it's own after a while. Just make sure that you scrub your scalp sufficiently and you should be ok.
