Does anyone else have the problem of feeling like they have too many clothes? Whats a good way to manage the size and proportions of my wardrobe? I always want to get rid of stuff but I feel so attached to the clothes I already have I don't know which to dump.

Hang everything in reverse. When you wear something, put it back the right way. Give yourself a timeline and after it ends, donate/sell anything that's still hung backwards.

Thats a good idea. How would I apply it to drawer clothes, shoes, and workout clothes? What kind of timeline is ideal a month? (sans weather clothes)

Just go through it all and get rid of anything you know you don't wear anymore. Should be pretty easy.

I thought so too, but i still always think "oh i might wear this again" "oh i can use this as workout clothes" "oh I'll wait until next season"

I need some decision making principles because I will make excuses to hang onto this shit. It feels frustrating.

Why do you think you have too many clothes in the first place?

I do the same thing OP.

I've run out of places to put them. additionally, having to dig around so much is more complex than I think i;d prefer, which would be having a wardrobe with more excellent items and less "filler" like old tees and pants, old hoodies, old dress clothes, and stuff that has a little value but doesn't get worn.

I'll have 1 shitty "filler" articles for every article I actually like wearing. ( for daily gym trip + cooking +general lounge wear + sleeping clothes)

If you find yourself out of clean "good" clothes and only have the "fillers" left, you probably can get afford to get rid of that # of leftovers

just throw that shit out, you can always buy more clothes as you need them
