Yo /fa/.

I just copped this really cute skirt at a consignment shop. I'm not huge about designers, but it's Christian Lacroix, for what that's worth.

I'm also not super fashionable, so I was wondering what kind of shirt and shoes I could wear with this skirt. I was thinking something really simple since the patterns of the skirt are pretty busy. Help please?

I own those. For the price they are a solid boot. A couple of things to bear in mind: if you look at the laces between where the lace eyes end and the 'hooks' start it's actually a pretty big space. I wish it was more evenly spaced. second be aware you a buying relatively high ankle black combat boot. Depending how you dress it might not fit your wardrobe. If you are asking about them I suggest you think out a couple fits so you don't end up looking like some basement dweller who went to a surplus store.

I also found the standard laces to be a bit short. Nit-picky but proper boot laces are important. All that being said I'm quite found of them and they look good with a bit of wear.

it's not like the dude is unrealistically skinny, but i have no idea where you find pants that slim and tapered

they have got to be girls jeans

i mean seriously
i wouldn't be able to fit my feet through openings that small

>> No.7769843

>>7769834

while it's pretty hard to find jeans that tapered, I'd bet he gets them tailored to that size.

I generally get my jeans tapered because the ankles are never as fitting as I'd like.

Not really inspo but copped a pair of 1460(i think) for like $65, which is cheap as heck over here. Completely new. They are so freaking comfortable. I ordered a pair of 511's to try and match with them somehow.. The kind of look I want to go for is similar to >>7765659
So I'm still looking for a jacket like that.. Any ideas?

I'm thinking of getting a pair of these exact ones, never wore boots before. How are they at first? Will they feel a bit overwhelming having not had a pair of boots before? How long does it take to break them in?

It just looks a bit too bulky, plus its not really my style. They would look great if the midsoles were a little thinner. But, I only wear Vans and run roshes, so I guess my opinion doesn't really matter here.

That depends on the type you get. Of the basic black classic 1460 boots, there are three options: regular, China/Thai made, Made in England neo-vintage (MiE), and ForLife. http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Martens-Womens-1460-Originals/dp/B006O2O162

The kind you'll get on Amazon for like 80-90$ USD are mass-produced Thai or Chinese factory shoes, and aren't too hard to break in. Quality is okay, given the price.

The MiE Docs are more expensive, but have the quality of being handmade by glorious masterrace British cobblers, and tend to be a bit nicer in build quality. http://www.dmusastore.com/p-2341-vintage-1460.aspx

The ForLife docs are only made in 1460, if I remember correctly. They have a literal lifetime warranty, and are made of thicker leather, and harder rubber, and are basically just heavy duty. If they ever break, you can send them back for a new pair. http://www.dmusastore.com/p-3162-1460-forlife.aspx

Mine are 1460 ForLifes, and they're sturdy as fuck. They take a month or so to break in, no lie. I kinda rushed all this info, I hope it helps

Late af reply but they seem to be sold out everywhere (except for some really huge sizes). The ones on eBay are all expensive as hell, so I guess all I can do is wait.
