Just by chance I wanted to see if the ninja curiosity on /fa/ has faded, I guess it never will.

Personally, I think he can style it better than the model's on Rick's runways that are usually purposely off.

If you're a patrician and you ball so hard and you're on a completely higher plane than everyone else, you wouldn't exactly care what they'd be thinking, would you? They probably hang out with like-minded people, have girlfriends that dress the same way or engage in loose, casual sex.

"Gothninjas" that wear skirts aren't exactly universally accepted either, but there's no reason a man can't wear a skirt or a kilt if he so chooses. Some people do not choose to follow their socially imposed gender identity to a t.

If it was so easily understood by plebs, it wouldn't exactly be so cool to dress like that would it?

Also, most "ninjas" hate the concept of runways.

Why don't you watch some interviews with Rick Owens or something? But I respect that you're willing to ask questions.

tbh i'd tone this outfit down a bit if I were to wear it, but it really matters where you live too. I mean if you live in some shit tier city with plebs everywhere it'll be hard to pull this off.

Live in a diverse city like SF or something and walk around Union Square? No one's gonna pay any mind to you any more than the next person.

There's more important things than a person's face. I guess some people will just never see past the most superficial.

The guy in the OP is quite handsome to me.

The way we are headed thanks to people like you will have us saying "only proper retards leave the house at all"

When you live in a city where people walk around in spandex suits or dog collars or whatever, a man in a skirt is pretty tame.

Rick Owens really knows how to target an audience.

Reading that last paragraph in your image makes me think of a closer to home situation.

How does one let go of the social norms in their environment from the way they dress now to the avant garde level of Rick.

Maybe it's because those people who wear Rick where never fully integrated into society in the first place.

In terms of attractiveness? Beyond not being disfigured, no, the face is the most important part about you.

hearing it from rick himself helps a lot; the people who wear gothninja obviously are not the type to be conscious or paranoid of what people think of their style in the first place

Feminism isn't about a woman being allowed to wear a pair of pants.

Feminism is about a woman wearing whatever she wants to wear, whether or not it's a pair of pants.

When women first started wearing pants it was considered SHOCKING AS FUK

And it took alot of time and effort to standardize pants for women as a normal thing

Today you see the LGBT movement heading along and more men experimenting with gender based (?) clothing like skirts

I think in the future men in skirts will be a normal thing but it's gonna take a hell lot longer than it did for women wearing pants to become normal

Yeah, I agree. It's hard for me to even imagine a guy just wearing a skirt. I'm okay with OP's pic, or dick oven's Skirted jeans, just for the layering aspect. The only fit I can think of that I actually liked that had a male dress is some asian guy's from /fa/, I only saw it once, and I think you'd have to be asian to pull it off.

Anyway, I doubt we'll be seeing dudes walking around in Jil Sanders skirts any time soon.
