/fa/, what is your GO TO brand?

like, if forced to pick a favorite brand or designer, or you had to wear only one brand or designer for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

This is not to say "what do you have the most of" or even have to be set in reality, but I was just wondering what your brand of choice is. An explanation or reasoning for it would be much appreciated.

everything is basic as fuck and nice tshirts, but obviously I'd have to wear some other brand for shoes and I'm sure that counts separate. And the shoes would be Rick Owens, or Visvim if we're counting brands I don't own

>> No.7748440

Damir Doma.

Nice basics, button ups and trousers mixed with nice sneakers and dress shoes, etc. Esp with the Silent line too, you can do anything with Damir. Plus they aren't always super edgy and experimental and shit, everything is cut well for tall lanky people like me, as well.

dickrider here, checking in.

Carven because every piece is beautifully crafted and has something that sets it apart from the norm. Even basics have embellishments or luxurious cuts. Truly worth the investment, carven pieces add a lot to a wardrobe, and put together, they don't look excessive

Except that all of it is made in China, Hungary, Romania, etc. Not saying that it's bad and they do price more like a contemporary range than a ready-to-wear line, but a lot of people gloss over that point.

i'd say julius because i love the way the products are constructed

even though it's all within a very certain aesthetic it's easy to mix and match different styles within the brand

>>7748440

i dunno i find a lot of damir stuff boring to the point of being reaally uninteresting lol. also maybe the fact that used damir stuff goes for more than used rick a lot of the time which pisses me off

Stephan Schneider
I love what I have from him, the most incredible knit I've ever handled, I can't wait to acquire more.
Ideologically he really interests me, especially his in-house fabrics and his Yamamoto-esque approach, and design-wise I love his style, it's pretty much exactly what I want in striking a balance between Yamamoto and the more traditional menswear that Yamamoto subverts.

Hedi Slimane everyday

he haves such a taste, i mean, not too excentric but not too basic too, its just perfect for me, he doesnt uses that much colours and thats great for me because i feel uncomfortable using colours in my fits, also, the whole fit attitude is great, not too sad nor too happy, just like a "i dont give a fuck" you can wear his shit every day in any occasion

i´m actually trying to build a full wardrobe based on his style
