Most denim you'll be looking at will probably be sanforized, but unsanforized shrinks around 2 size when it touches water. It is more appropriate for more 'advanced' denim heads

They're a great deal if you buy a rarer, more unique fabric. A plain indigo Gustin isn't the best deal for $100, but it certainly isn't the worst. I would recommend picking one of the more interesting fabrics instead.

I only own a pair of APCs and a pair of nonnative. I want to get Pure Blue Japan for my next pair but that won't be for another 6 months or so.

Do some research on the jeans before buying. Look for a site that has exact measurements.

Ok guys good stuff so far so thank you. Is it worth getting a cheapish pair from next or w/e to wear and see how they go? I'm not retarded but if I get some for say £40 rather than £100 i'd feel less shitty if they shrank into an unwearable size.

I have only owned two pairs of selvedge, Unbranded skinnies and N&F Weird Guys (in black). The price difference is noticeable-N&F feel so much better.

What do you do is up to you. They will be your jeans. Soak them, wash them, wear the fuck out of them, let them sit on your shelf while you keep wearing your levi's, whatever dude.

weird guy has less slim top block than skinny guy, there for you will be able to size down more and get a smaller leg opening which means better/ more stacks.
