Do you guys actually use these for running? Theyre $ 200 with shipping so I'm kinda on the fence. If I could use them for running aswell that could justify the price..Wouldnt wanna ruin the shoe though

>> No.7706334

Wouldnt run in them, fuck that.
Theyre sooo comfy, and theyre probably really good for running, but itd wear the shoes down very quickly.

i dont have them but your question could be easily answered by googling 'flyknit lunar review'

maybe try including keywords like 'running' or 'jogging'

I know they are running shoes, theyre not like roshes. I'm just wondering if its stupid to do so because it would wear em down.

Cheers

I vaguely remember reading a review for them which said they are only suitable for running distances of up to 5km.

Cop if you run bitch distances.
You'd be much better off buying an ugly functional running shoe than a nice looking one that's going to cause strain.

>> No.7706359

If you're going to run in them you're going to wreck them. They just aren't made for it. They're "casual sportswear"

What are som egood running shoes?

what

theyre actually made for running and get lots of praise on reviews. have you actually done any reading or research on them at all or are you just pulling out baseless assumptions?

>runner's world editor's choice of the year 2013
>running guru 9/10 review
>"excellent running shoes" on another popular running shoes website
>etc

wtf

>>7706372
right now im imagining everyone in the thread like this gif. look at review websites. is this really so difficult? does anyone here actually do any thinking or put any effort into anything or do you all just post straight to /fa/ as soon as you have a problem. if you gave your question any thought at all you'd have easily considered that it depends on what kind of running you are doing. marathon runners use different shoes than 100m runners. depends on terrain. im officially out of this thread now and all you helpless fuccbois are on your own

They are great for track & field running breh

Disqus comments are not always a good source for review information

Do you know what "hype" is?

>> No.7706434

I have a pair and being completely honest that's all they're good for is running. They look hideous when worn for any other reason. Just buy roshe runs they're better if you want to be /fa/ ..but as a running shoe though I have to say Lunarlons are the most comfortable

>> No.7706439

Also the only part that wears down at all really is the the rubber in the front and it's not noticeable. Very durable and extremely flexable 9/10 ..as a running shoe.

I run with flyknits on hard surface and use Free Run # when it comes to trail running.

Flyknit you could do both with but you're more likely to fuck the knitting up with trail running what with roads and branchs and shit.

If you have had running experience, have a good neutral stride and good posture whilst running these are great. My usual run in these are 7-8kms 3 times a week.

Thank you. I'm going to do the wet feet on heavy sheet paper test now to see what kind of arch my foot has.

and I should have clarified I run with Flyknit Lunar 1s. Those exact shoes in the pic. The lunar sole is really nice.

But to be honest if you really want proper running shoes, ASICS is almost unbeatbale :D
