ALERT ALERT ALERT!!!

No poo is the biggest bullshit I've ever heard. I started no poo about a year and a half ago and I thought it seemed to work pretty well. It started off super greasy and then my hair got accustomed to it over time. Every week or so I would use less than a dime size of shampoo just to keep everything in check. I always wondered why my hair looked so healthy and nice after I'd get it cut. BECAUSE THEY'D LATHER THAT SWEET HAIR NECTAR ON IT. Seriously, I just started using a lot of shampoo and conditioner again and it looks much more healthy and it's actually touchable again. Don't fall for that BS!

I use Paul Mitchell volumizing shampoo with Argan Plus frizz free conditioner. Slap some of that shit on there every 2 days and you're good to go. Fuck da trolls, fuck da h8ers.

Oh c'mon. I really doubt washing it once a week would make any difference than not washing it all. No poo never seems to look or feel good when you run your hands through it. I dated this girl during that year and a half and I never let her run her hands through it. How you gonna get the qts if they can't even run their paws through your luscious hair? I do it for the qts.

nopoo only works for a very specific hair type and if you're naturally not greasy

I would agree with this >>7699420
My hair/scalp is usually very dry and prone to dandruff, started no poo about 4 months ago and I don't have those issues any more.
My hair looked very dry and frizzy before, not it just looks normal. My hair is never ever greasy looking in the slightest.

I occasionally use conditioner, but even that I've been using less and less of.

That's the thing, I have naturally dry hair. It started out greasy and then looked very dry and dull for the duration of my no poo journey.

My gf does nopoo. I don't really mind. Her hair isn't really soft but its touchable and it smells good because she uses natural oils and stuff like that.

You're gf sounds like a dirty hippy. But seriously, if it works for her then awesome. I find women almost always look better when they use poo. I love a girl with freshly washed soft hair. I bounce that shit up and down with my hands like majestic waves hitting the shore. A big lions mane is sexy.

You are so stupid. Use conditioner for smell and feel. The entire point of no-poo is keeping as much oil in the hair as possible. For 99% of people, that will result in the best hair appearance and feeling. What do you mean untouchable? That it isn't hard and flaky but soft and slightly moist?

99% of people LOL

>> No.7699762

it only really works if you've got the right hair for it, it looks pretty awful on people with thin hair. you've also got to brush/comb it religiously to spread the oils around, as well as maintaining a good diet.

I've been weening myself off the poo. Now down to shampooing once a week and things are going nicely.

A few questions:
How do I get completely to no poo? My hair seems to get horribly greasy by wash day. To the point where I have to wash it since it makes my forehead break out.

Also, what will make my hair smell less like dirty hair?

just really vigorously clean it with lukewarm water.
>The 4 Massage Techniques
Effleurage
Rotary
Friction
Petrissage

go through all of those, then i like to stand under running water and comb my hair for a while. my hair always feels lovely and clean after this, no poo required. i suspect this does get rid of some surface oil as well, just without completely stripping your scalp of it.

>> No.7699863

how to combat dandruff from no poo? it might go away in warmer months but this winter is killing me

>> No.7699871

Sowhen I wash my hair it feels dry and nasty water only. How come? It feels fine after a day. Is it because I stretch my washes out so far that my hair produces less oil?
Conditioning with homey and aloe helps but a bit of a pain. Been at it since August.

>> No.7699885

buy a bristley brush. brush at least 2+ times a day, this will displace all the dandruff on your head and give your scalp a chance to breath as well as stimulating bloodflow.
