Well I've had long hair like that since I was 8 years old. I always kept it around that length, it was longer when I was 17, but I chopped it up badly when I went to Japan, and started to grow it back out at 18 with one TRIM a year until I was 22. So I'd say in all reality about 10-12 months to get it long enough.

Caesar cut is about having the same length everywhere without the buzzcut look. So you actually have to grow your hair for like two months before being able to have a real cc.
