Are GATS suitable for running in? I know they're an army trainer used for exercise but the army also can't afford to deck everyone out with £80 running shoes.

I ask because I just started running but don't have anything to run in and it would also be nice to wear them in a bit

they are intended for exercise, ie gym and calisthenics stuff, while you can run in them, they aren't optimal for it (flat, thin sole)
just buy running shoes

Yeah I'm gonna when I get payed but I have no clue what to get.

I was told different shoes suit different people. I'm not going to be running much to start with. Just start distances first to build myself up.
