Hi /fa/ is using jackets in the summer a thing?

I dress casual for my job and I really hate shirts, I usually wear gray and dark blue T-Shirts with jeans, I was thinking long sleeved cltohes to protect my arms and neck from the sun. What would you do in this situation?

wear whatever you want dude. if it's too hot though you can get a linen/seersucker blazer or look for ones with tech fabrics to cool you.

off the top of my head wearing jackets in the summer sounds really weird to me

if you want to wear something long-sleeved thats still pretty casual, you could try oxford cloth button downs or linen shirts

or you could wear sunscreen, up to you

yea, there are coats made specifically for the summer. granted they wont help you when its really fucking hot but usually they're made of lighter cottons and poplin and linens and stuff. Ann D has almost always had jackets in her ss and I know many other designers do.

A popover shirt.

thanks a lot. I think this is just what I need.

Henley typically do not have collars. A henley is basically a t-shirt with a partial placket. A popover specifically refers to a woven shirt style with a partial placket. They're basically collared/uncollared and woven/knit analogues.
