the way these brands work is they make a very small amount of the expensive, runway type shit, making it easier to sell and lose less. the stuff they sell a lot of is much more cheaply made and widely produced. the tb suits, sweaters, shoes. not saying they're bad, but manufactured more cheaply.

iirc didn't he recently announce a diffusion line that was more trad in terms of proportion and tailoring? i expect that'll help bring in some more money from the customer less interested in the uncompromising mainline stuff

kind of goes against his ethos imo
i guess its more important to stay in business tho
