Where do you guys get your combat boots?

I know about military surplus but there are none where I live so I'm looking online atm.
What are some decent online mili surplus store and some recommended options?
I'm also looking at Etsy and ebay. Are they good?

The nice thing about eBay is that it's pretty much a global marketplace so you get a bit of everything.
The shitty thing is some sellers don't know how to list clearly so you can't be completely sure you're getting a good product.
Sometimes its worth the gamble though, I've never seen ripples like these in local milsurp stores.

Also FWIW Rothco boots are very poor quality. Wearable but personally I'd rather have slightly used boots at the same price than shitty new boots.

If you're GOING to buy cheap, these are the brands to avoid; Merrell, Caterpillar, Uggs, Tsubo, Kenneth Cole, ECCO and Steve Madden.

only time you should cheap out on footwear is if their second hand from someone else, factory seconds, or you're like me and have a huge collection of shoes you cycle through so much that nothing gets worn often enough for damage to quickly accumulate

Please don't buy boots online unless you have tried that brand on in a store. Boots must fit well or they'll fuck up your feet.

As far as brands, Rothco boots suck. Corcoran (HH) are some of the best. Wellco boots are middle of the road. Bates are not good. Your best bet for quality, fit, AND style aside from Corcoran is to buy designer combat inspired boots.
