That said, I've found similar cargos in shitty places like fabrixquare but I refuse to buy from them, so if anyone can recommend similar pieces of decent quality, that would be super neat.

I have a feeling that ribbed jeans like Balmain's biker and Rick's Memphis would work well with lunar. Especially in black/white/brown color.

As for jacket, maybe something like Member's Only jacket for the outer layer and a light hoodie for the inner layer if we are to stay away from the usual bomber jacket.

If it's a shirt you don't use then go for it, sometimes it can be a little itchy though.
I cut up one of my old shirts (black) to make it a drape vest sorta thing, had to cut the arms off, cut down both sides and cut the neck part off then open it up and put it on like a coat.
I'm going to be experimenting with drapey clothes in lunarcore, not too much though, need some XXL cheap shirts in the right colour.

lunar doesnt require layers at all. you just have to do more with less pieces, which means they have to be pretty obviously part of the style; things that have little details like non traditional cuts/stitching (usually more geometric) or little details that look mechanical etc. the shoes will play a huge part as well (though they always do anyway)

Yo, have you considered sewing in some speed laces?

They're like those drawstring stretchy cinch laces like you see on techwear jacket hoods and such. You could sew in a hem with the laces wrapped around the leg, so you could cinch them down to whatever tightness you wanted.

Lunar is another thing I'll never be enthusiastically able to adapt to. I love most of poet's fits, but just the fact that a portion of the pictures in this thread are deviant art or over-designed comics makes me want to lose it. I'm not sure, I used to get these from the place where I used to do vacation jobs as a welder.
They gave us three of these each week and told us to throw them out by the end of the week, but they're flame-retardant so most of the time they just needed a good wash and they were still good to go.
They don't have tags or anything, and iirc the sizing just worked with S/M/L rather than waist/inseam.
I could ask where they buy them, but they always bought entire boxes of them, so I'm not sure if you can just buy them on your own.
They're probably dirt-cheap though...
