I've been wondering myself: would they look tacky in a business setting? I've got a nice pair, but can't really decide if they'd look a little too, i don't know, nonchalant to be professional

>> No.7598723

>>7598700
if you are tall and have slim legs it works but only with a tight opening, if they just look like capris they will not work. The OP pic is a nono and something like >>7597688 could work.

>> No.7598742

they're cool if the cut off girth is decent
I like these two

they could look good, if they look smart then yeah they'd be fine in a professional setting
wear socks that go higher than the cutoff though, ankle looks too dirty for business

>> No.7598760

>>7598723
I got the reverse opinion
I think it looks best when the fit is slim/straight, a la thom browne or japanese streetwear.

what about this? with thin black socks, (black belt obvs) and i was thinking a black and white color-block button down tucked in w/no tie, or white button down w/a black tie.

>> No.7598898

i like it

showing a bit of ankle/sock is a subtle but nice touch

>> No.7598899

>>7598878
feeling cautious about the white-shirt black tie tho cause a don't wanna come off as someone who looks like hes got a trunkfull of books of latter day saints, lol.

but, i suppose it's how u wear it aswell, and honestly i dont think i project that vibe, so mayb itll work.. none the less: any suggestions to wear tucked white shirts + black ties but avoid the mormon vibe? rly wish they hadn't commandeered such a basic look...

pants/shoes look good
white button down with black tie would look dope imo
I prefer loose rather than tucked but you might be required to tuck it

honestly i think they kind of enhance your silhouette. they fit nice to a skinny body, a built body and a fat body also. the only drawback is that they don't look as good on people with short legs.

wear them with actual shoes please, not sneakers, otherwise you'll look like a fucking moron. pic related: if you wear sneakers with cropped pants, you'll look like this but you'll get people think you're a tryhard /fa/ggot.

i hadn't actually thought about this since it hadn't occurred to me that people would actually wear sneakers with cropped pants but yeah you're right
