everyone on my mother's side has perfect hair until death. everyone on my father's has receding hairlines by their mid-30s.

i also have a small divot in the front of my widow's peak which i'm not sure what to think about. i honestly never noticed it or thought about balding until this week, as i have otherwise very healthy, thick hair.

I have serious reservations about the drugs tho. As far as Im aware the test blockers have a physiological effect on your whole body and not just follicle growth.
Would just shave but it's terribly mishapen. I would look even more aliencore than trunks.

My dad was totally bald by early 30s and 3 months ago at the age of 22 i noticed my hair was starting to thin. Got on finasteride + minox basically immediately and now my hair is starting to grow much quicker and is looking thicker. I also have new small , vellus hairs in front of my hairline and my hairline is moving down ever so slightly. I hope to hang on to a decent head of hair for a long time, although my mpb genes are probably quite aggressive so I'm in for a tough fight.

well finasteride is already pretty much that pill in some ways. You have to be extremely unlucky to lose much hair on it, it seems. In terms of making a bald man have hair again I'm not sure there will ever be a pill that could make that kind of difference, but there will be other options one day I'm sure. Although keeping hair will probably always be easier than regrowing it.

20 y.o. here, started losing hair around 18
my dad and brother went bald in their 20s so i'm likely headed down the same path

shit gets a little overwhelming sometimes i must admit, especially now that i've got a hunch of what i am in for (shaved my head last summer with an outcome that was unexpectedly creepy, even my family felt intimidated)

i can only hope the sanguinary child rapist look will be in style by 2018
