what are /fa/ careers that pay well?

A barista might be /fa/, but that's not a career and it certainly doesn't pay well.

A talented actor, artist, or musician. Though being untalented makes you very un/fa/ in any of those fields.

Alternatively; design of any sort, advertising, entrepreneur, chef at higher end establishments, etc.

There are more of course, but these things don't necessarily make you /fa/, it takes the right person in those positions.

Unless you specifically go to a college which specializes in strictly fine arts you will have a very difficult time finding a fine arts job with a livable income. Most colleges have fine arts programs to attract more kids who aren't capable of studying an actual real major. You'll eventually get a low paying office job, have fun.

Teaching a shit, or keep specializing until you can teach uni level. Interpreters can make really great money if they're at a high level (ie UN and shit). And you get to travel often and be around powerful people.

>>7590802
>the jobs either range from soul-crushingly boring to completely uninteresting
There's also a good market for book/movie/vidya translators. That's my goal. You get to stay at home or are free to travel around the world and work from your laptop, you can pick your own hours and the work itself is rather fun and interesting.

Museum curator is pretty /fa/. Involves going to a lot of events with stylish people, some travel to interesting places, etc. You won't get rich doing it unless you curate for the Met or MOMA or something but it's a decent living that can support a comfortable lifestyle.

I came up through galleries but nowadays there are schools offering degrees in curation that will let you bypass that and go directly into museum curatorial (at least as an assistant).
