What is /fa/'s opinion on tweed?

Thinking of buying this blazer.

It's harder for a younger person to pull it off, and most who do are usually neckbeard dr. who cosplayers. I saw a guy wearing an ill fitting tweed jacket last night at the supermarket with a fedora, some black polyester pants and square toed shoes.

I quite like tweed sport coats with the patches on the elbows and tabs at the collar, but it seems like it's impossible to find slim fitting ones and there are so many patterns I don't like.
