The words "minimalism" needs to be reworked. It's too heavy and definitely does not promote the feeling that it is trying to describe. That is why I have proposed a change to the word.

From now on, everyone will be expected to say "min" instead of the outdated "minimalism." In an age where less is more, the word min would serve as a fantastic replacement, as it is both aesthetically pleasing and accurate, to the bulky minimalism. As an added bonus, min covers the words "minimalism," "minimalist," "minimalistic," and any other variation of the root.

I finally started buying designer clothing last year after doing alot of research, thinking I would now be able to look exactly how I wanted to.

The reality was that it's easy to develop taste for what you like and think looks good, but it's very difficult to actuallly execute outfits irl.

At first I wanted to establish a solid foundational "uniform" I would wear all the time, but made some bad impulse purchases which set me back.

Then I started purchasing "grail" "statement" type pieces, they are very nice but without good foundational basics it's very difficult to use / be versatile with them, pic related is the only acceptable looking fit I've been able to put together with the Hakamas and even then it's quite boring imo

Had lots of periods of cognitive dissonance, wanted to just go full out crazy with CdG and Undercover pieces. I really love the witty, subtle sophistication of Yohji but also love what could be considered on the polar opposite - loud, crazy, and creative clothing. When I feel angry or indifferent I want to buy a UC leather jacket and a nice pair or skinny jeans to wear every single day for years, but after the mood swings and impulses I always come back to Yohji.

Right now I'm trying to go back to establishing a single uniform. Selling and throwing away alot of stuff. I own around 10 pieces of clothing atm, of which only maybe around 4-5 get regular wear. Planning to get rid of everything unnecessary and start over.

The road to being /fa/ is long and difficult :(

Outerwear:
Spiewak Golden Fleece Snorkel Parka

H&M Nylon MA-1
Levis x Filson Trucker Jacket

Sweatshirts
Naked & Famous Gray Hoodie
American-Giant Black Hoodie
Reigning Champ Black Sweatshirt Black

Sweaters:
Wings Horns Wool sweater Gray

Pants:
Naked & Famous Jeans Indigo
Levi's Commuter Cargos
Levi's 508 tapered jeans
RRL Officer Chinos
Naked & Famous Pomegranate Jeans

Shirts:
3x White/Gray/Black Uniqlo OCBDs.
2x Uniqlo Flannels

Tees:
Assortment of Black/Gray/White Uniqlo Tees.

Shoes:
Red Wing Iron Rangers in Amber
Viberg Scout Boots in Black
Wings + Horns Black High Tops
Jack Purcell White Canvas
Converse by JV Black Chucks
John Varvatos USA fuccboi fashion boots
Basic Converse for lifting

What should I add next? I think a nice cardigan would be good. I also need decent sweatpants.

I have a few random generic items I wear around the house that I didn't list. Or stuff that I am intending to get rid of.

My budget is limited but I've been filtering money into buying a few nicer items as you can see from my list. Might sell a couple bottoms too and get some outlier technical fabric pants.
