Smith's Lakewood Waterproof Boots
They're comfortable, easy to get on and off, and they're durable for when I'm working outside in rain and snow. Not very fashionable but more conventional.

yea, still very decent sneaker tho, price/quality ratio is so crazy good, leather is actually very nice but leatherdye is a bit iffy.

I've taken pretty good care of mine and have no big scratches, but kinda worry if I ger some on the toebox :s

prolly gonna buy this seasons sneakers too if they go on sale.

kind of related since it's about boots

does anyone have experience with Frye boots that aren't US made?

I know they're overpriced considering they're made in Mexico or whatever, but they seem like they'd be good on sale for around $200

been looking at the Frye Fulton boots in particular. they scratch that same itch that the W+H x Dayton boots do, while being almost a third the price

when looking up Frye on Styleforum, a bunch of people mention them being poorly made and looking cheap and other various negative things. other places like Zappos have mixed reviews, but nowhere else was as universally negative as sf. was wondering if anyone else had any better experience with them
