Let's talk about parkas, /fa/. I've noticed them becoming a bit more popular lately, so I wonder how long that will last.

What do you have? What do you recommend? I'm looking at this one from Alpha Industries, but I'm not sure how warm it is. (I haven't found any place with any CM Barts or Bayanis in stock, but I've heard good things.)

My CM Bart arrived today (small, black). Still is massive on me and I'm 5'11. It is really nice though.

I haven't really looked at many parkas though. I think there is a big space in the market for a nice one though, most look like garbage.

Does it rain regularly where you live? If so, you should buy a parka. If you don't, do not buy a parka.

Just get a North Face or something. Anything with taped seams that doesn't feel like shit is good if you don't have to deal with heavy rain+winds.
