I wanna get into techboi fashion.

>tfw no outfits that can entirely shrug off water like jokes
>tfw no maximum 4-way stretch mobility
>tfw cannot burst into a full sprint at the drop of a hat.
>tfw no 100% ultra fine wool tee's

Is outlier a good place to start?

Having a techboi suit sounds godly. (pic related)

Aren't tech fabrics the feature?

Don't they offer more mobility, comfort, stain/water resistance, durability, and longevity than any natural fibers?

did you mean future?

and many natural materials have properties that techwear cant touch

>> No.7519807

>>7519799
yeah I meant future.
I know wool keeps better warmth while wet. What other properties are there?

For cold weather, poly-fill jackets are already leagues ahead of any natural material jacket out there.

>> No.7519831

>>7519807
depends what you mean by leagues ahead

theyre cheaper, work better when wet, easier to wash

but down jackets are lighter, more comfortable, and more durable

but yeah fur is still used on the lining for jackets, wool is still unmatched, leather is still great for boots/shoes, spider silk is still the strongest shit on earth, etc.

theres lots of great tech materials but often theyre better for just certain purposes, not "strictly better"

Too bad that snorkel parka isn't tech at all. Well, I suppose it was in 1972.

If you regularly wear size M I have a size L of that jacket for sale. (RC runs a size small). Leave your email if you want it I guess.

It's a softshell cotton/poly blend bonded with goretex tho. Really lightweight. More of a workout/chilly day jacket than anything else. Its made really well though, even has a wind guard running all the way up behind the zipper. And a little bit of fabric covers the top of the zipper so it doesnt rub against your face. Reigning Champ is amazing at getting all the TINY details right. The large slash zippers are segmented so they're 2 pockets apiece. This jacket is probably my #1 cop of 2013 tbh... especially since it was on sale.

Supreme x NF parka is a hardshell and is probably more functional and warmer. I really like it in white.

of course one is like $150 and the other is $500+ heh.

OP I highly suggest checking out Levis commuter line. they treat their jeans with water repellent. I bike a lot in the pacific nw where it rains a lot. I own 5 pairs. I get tons of compliments. good looking jeans but a bit spendy... about 80 bucks msrp. can find em for Bout 55 online now.
